Flower Season

Its flower season again so I’m going to use this opportunity to encourage everyone who hasn’t seen the flowers yet to get themselves as far up the Cape West Coast as possible – this is meant to be one of the best seasons ever!

For a couple of months every year the semi-desert region of Namaquland in the Northern Cape is adorned with colour, for as far as the eye can see fields and fields of flowers coat the ground.

I’m not going to say anymore about these gems which stay hidden for most of the year, only to show themselves for such a short time – let us know if you manage to get out there!
