Concerts for a Cause

On Sunday we spent yet another beautiful day in the sun, listening to live music at the Range in Tokai (which is very close to The Constantia), for Concerts for a Cause. Goldfish, Prime Circle, Rudimentals and Little Kings made the line-up along with some dancers and a fashion show – all to raise awareness for Heart of Healing.

We arrived, picnic lunch and some drinks in hand, at 11:00 not really expecting it to be too busy. At about 12:00 the line of people was snaking around the car park and obstructing the traffic trying to get in, exceeding even the organizers expectations I think.

The venue was amazing, a little small but in a great setting with mountains in the background and vineyards flanking us. A children’s play area provided entertainment for those not interested in the music, and food and drinks were also on sale.

What a great way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon and being allowed to bring our own food and drink, makes the R120 entrance fee really affordable! Join their Facebook group to find out about any concerts in the future.
