A large part of being a famous French socialite is needing to be seen at the right places at the right time. This is a huge responsibility. It takes massive organisation and dedication. On the face of it people think “oh it must be so easy to be famous” well it isn’t. It also requires a team. A publicist and a manager and required and they need to be discrete. After all you don’t want someone, other than yourself, selling that tell-all book. Yes, discretion is important.
I have discovered that the majority of people look at December and think holiday. I however am the majority! Therefore I look at December and think busy, busy, busy. In fact my December is already fully booked with invitations to the most sought-after events spread out all across Cape Town.
At the beginning of December I will be attending the launch of the new hotel in Cape Town - The Taj Cape Town. It’s located in the city centre, on the corner of Wale and Adderley Street and I’ve heard (first hand) that it’s going to be spectacular. Invites - for the launch - haven’t yet gone out but I (being Countess Josephine de Ville) was booked months ago. These people at the Taj Cape Town obviously know that I am in high demand. I didn’t even have to say anything. That - their surprising attention to detail - is what makes them a five star establishment.
I wonder if they picked that up from Last Word Boutique Hotel group? Excellent service is something The Last Word Hotel’s specialise in. I wouldn’t be able to call their various hotels home if it wasn’t.
